In the summer of 2023, it caused Meta turmoil caused by new app launch Threads via subsidiary Instagram. While Instagram mainly focuses on sharing images and videos, Threads emphasises text messaging. With this app, you can share your thoughts, ideas and opinions with the world in up to 500 characters.

It is a strategic move by Meta to launch a platform very similar to X, the former Twitter. Since December, Threads has also been available in Europe and we see more and more companies gratefully using this app. The big advantage of Threads over X is that Threads is part of the ever-growing Meta and X stood alone.
