Timeboxing is a simple but powerful time management technique. The concept is simple: instead of working on tasks until they are finished, you assign each task a fixed time period. This period is called a 'timebox'. When the timebox ends, you stop working, regardless of whether the task is complete or not.
Our Funkhaus Timebox template helps you organise your time and tasks in a structured way.

What is Timeboxing?
Timeboxing is a time management technique where you set a fixed time limit for an activity. You 'box in' a certain amount of time for a task, as it were, and then work only on that task during that period.
How Does Timeboxing Work?
The process of timeboxing is quite simple:
- You "dump" all tasks into the "TIMEBOX BRAIN DUMP" box.
- From these, you choose the three tasks with the highest priority, and list them under "TOP PRIORS".
- You then place your top priority tasks in the boxes below the timetable.
When your timbox time is up, stop working on the task - even if you haven't finished. This forces you to stay focused and productive during your allotted time.
Conclusion
Timeboxing is a powerful technique that can help improve your time management skills. It can help you stay focused, avoid procrastination and increase your productivity.
