- In the Pixar film "Finding Nemo" finds the Luxo Jr. lamp, a Pixar icon, as a toy in the dentist's waiting room. Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story is also featured in this scene.
- Steven Spielberg, the director of Indiana Jones, is good friends with Star Wars creator George Lucas. In "Raiders of the Lost Ark", Indy finds a golden artefact and the observant viewer will see the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 engraved in it. A subtle reference by Spielberg to his good friend's work.
